I can't quite believe I'm running around Kalm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Barret goes ballistic at the sight of carnage and the thought of having lost Marlene, but Cloud thinks that Marlene is safe at Aerith's house. They find her there and Elmyra tells the story of how she and Aerith, not her biological daughter, came to meet. Aerith and her biological mother had escaped from a Shinra facility, but the mother had passed while asking a random passerby, Elmyra, to take Aerith somewhere safe.
Though Johnny is not part of the group, Tifa fears he might still spill something, and Cloud and Tifa save him by taking out the soldiers holding Johnny under arrest. Cloud final fantasy vii is about to kill Johnny to ensure he will not expose Avalanche, but a shocked Tifa stops him and Johnny instead flees Sector 7, vowing to never return.
The stat penalties incurred by equipping Materia are negligible, and the stat differences between party members are often not relevant. The player can thus easily use any party member for almost any role, and thus choose a preferred party based on their character and relevance to the current story segment, if they so wish.
We love Jessie’s reaction to the laser beam mini-game and in general how carefree and relaxed she is about the whole mission. Why isn’t she tense like Cloud and Barret are?

The party decides to fight for the planet regardless, and in the end humanity's true fate was left ambiguous, with only the non-human member of the party, Red XIII, appearing in the epilogue, although future installments to the Compilation have revealed mankind did survive. The interconnectedness of all life is part of the Lifestream study explored in Cosmo Canyon, and the party realizes this when they gaze down on the planet from space, cognizant for the first time how small their world is in the vastness of the universe, reaffirming their conviction to protect it.
